American Jewish Committee will dedicate its new Institute of Human Relations with a seven-day series of conferences and seminars on prejudice, discrimination and intergroup relations. The week-long program will begin Jan. 18 and continue through Jan. 23.
Among the major events will be a dinner addressed by Nobel Prize winner Philip Noel-Baker and R.S.S. Gunewardene, Chairman of the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations.
The eight-story Institute “dedicated to man’s understanding of his fellow man, ” was established by the committee as a center for research and practical application in intergroup and human relations and serves as its permanent headquarters.
