The American Jewish Congress is preparing a number of major projects in the field of adult Jewish education, it was reported here today by Dr. David Petegorsky, executive director. He spoke at a gathering of 150 officers and leaders of the organization.
Dr. Petegorsky revealed that a volume on “Great Jewish Books” incorporating interpretative essays on, and selective readings from, books which have shaped Jewish life and history will be published by the American Jewish Congress in February for use by study groups and adult education institutes.
