A state conference of representatives of Jewish communities in New Jersey has been called by the American Jewish Congress, for April 6, at the local Y.M.-Y. W. H. A. The purpose of the conference is to plan for the expansion of the activities of the American Jewish Congress in that district. Plans will be adopted for the establishment of a New Jersey State Region, and officers will be elected for the coming year.
The sessions will culminate with a dinner which will be addressed by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, honorary president; Bernard S. Deutsch, president, and Bernard G. Richards, executive director of the American Jewish Congress.
