An emergency conference to map plans for immediate aid to surviving Jews in Europe and Shanghai will be held here by the American Jewish Congress on April 28th, it was announced today.
In a message to the conference, Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt described the plight of the refugee and displaced Jews whom she had seen on her recent trip to Europe and said: “The American people have been extremely generous and deeply concerned, but until these people are reestablished with some sense of security, we can leave no source of help untapped.”
