The two-day 50th annual meeting of the American Jewish Historical Society opened here last night with the presentation of a detailed historic survey of Jewish unionism in the United States by Prof. Selig Perlman, of the University of Wisconsin’s Department of Economics.
Today, papers were presented on three noteworthy American Jewish historical anniversaries: “The 200th Anniversary of Easton, Pa.” by Dr. Joshua Trachtenberg; “The History of Mount Sinai Hospital (1852-1952)” by Dr. Burrill B. Crohn; and “The History of Temple Isaiah Israel, Chicago (1852-1952)” by Dr. Morton Berman.
