The executive also adopted a resolution urging the “immediate abolition of the British Mandate and the liberation of Palestine from alien rule and oppression.” It suggested the establishment of a transitional United Nations authority to administer Palestine until a permanent democratic U.N. solution is achieved, to be exercised jointly by the U.S., Britain, U.S.S.R. and France.
