Under-Secretary of the Home Office, Osber Peake, one of the English delegates to the Anglo-American conference on refugees here today stated that the proposals in the joint memorandum submitted by American Jewish organizations “were considered as they arose during the course of discussion” at the sessions of the conference. “We could hardly let anyone prepare an agenda for the conference,” he added.
