The foundation for a new American Jewish settlement at Mejdal, on the shore of the Galilee Sea, has been laid by a first settlement of twelve houses. The Arab Sheiks from the neighboring villages came to participate in the celebration that was held, and to welcome the new settlers. Congratulatory messages were received from America and other countries.
The new settlement will be named Tel Moshe, and is being built by the American Jewish group “Baith V’jan.”
