The Red Mogen Dovid, which is known popularly as the “Red Cross of Palestine,” today issued an appeal for medical aid for its non-sectarian relief work in Palestine.
Emphasizing the strategic position of the Jewish Homeland, the organization pointed out that it dates back to World War I and has since been functioning as a peacetime emergency ambulance corps, entirely supported by the local population, Christian, Jew and Arab.
Red Mogen Dovid, through special arrangement with the Palestine government, has been-made official agency for protection and welfare of the civilians in case of attack.
