The last day for placing mail orders in America for forwarding matzoth and kosher food supplies for Passover to Soviet Russia is Thursday, March 17th., says an announcement issued here by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (Hias). Radio orders may be sent until Tuesday, March 22nd., and cable orders until Friday, March 25th.
Mr. Aaron Benjamin, the Hias Commissioner in Europe, is in Riga, personally superintending the packing and forwarding of the matzoth and food parcels, the Hias states, and he has made all arrangements for their delivery not later than April 1st.
