The New York Joint Board of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America this week-end donated $100,000 for the building of a street of homes in Haifa for Israeli immigrants. The money was raised by workers in the union contributing holiday pay they received for working on July 4, last. The union previously contributed a similar sum for the building of homes in Holon.
