The new coalition government of Israel was hailed as one that will “usher in a period of stability and harmony in the Jewish state,” in a statement issued today by Dr. Pinkhos Churgin, president of the Mizrachi Organization of America.
Dr. Churgin expressed the conviction that not only would the new coalition cabinet be supported by the people of Israel but that it would also furnish the basis for the emergence of a wider national coalition “which is so urgently needed during this critical state of Israel’s struggle to achieve economic security while continuing to accept immigrants in unprecedented members.”
