Three new projects in behalf of Youth Aliyah children will be dedicated in Israel this week, it was made known here today by the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America. Special ceremonies will mark the opening of a settlement house and school in the Bakka section of Jerusalem, a pre-school center at Schunat Hatikvah, and a printing plant in the Aliyah Children’s Village at Petach Tikvah.
The three projects bring to forty-nine the number of child-care and social-welfare activities sponsored in Israel through the efforts of American Mizrachi Women. Printing equipment for the Aliyah Children’s Village shop will provide vocational training for many of the 250 refuges children now maintained there.
