A resolution to convoke a world conference of rabbis, including leading rabbis from Israel, for the purpose of discussing pressing religious and social problems concerning Jewish life throughout the world was adopted here today at a convention of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada. The conference is to take place next summer in New York.

Reports on the decline of religion among Jews in rural sections of the United States were made by a number of delegates.
