The American Red Mogen Dovid for Israel announced today that it was launching a campaign to finance construction of a new blood bank and hospital complex in Haifa. The new Mogen David Adom Center in Haifa will cost between $750,000 and $1 million.
The Mogen David Adom organization maintains 63 medical aid stations in Israel for emergency first-aid and short-term out-patient treatment. American Red Mogen Dovid recently reported that United States, Canadian and Latin American contributors had provided 120 ambulances for the Israeli organization during the past four months.
