Mrs. Rose Halprin, chairman of the American Section of the Jewish Agency here, today sent the following cable of condolence to the family of the late Rabbi Maimon in Israel:
“As a sage in world Jewry, as a leader in world Zionism, and the first Minister for Religious Affairs in the State of Israel, Rabbi Maimon will always remain one of the unforgettable in Twentieth Century Jewish history, even as Israel reborn will always bespeak his long and great life dedicated to the upbuilding of the Jewish Homeland and the redemption of homeless Jewry.”
