Eleven American collegians, representing a cross-section of seven U.S. universities, ranging from Brooklyn College to Stanford University at Palo Alto, Calif, are leaving tomorrow aboard the Israeli liner S. Z. Zion for Haifa, where they will disembark for a year’s special study at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
The Israeli study project is sponsored by the Jerusalem university in cooperation with the American Friends of Hebrew University and the Jewish Agency. The students were screened and selected under the direction of Professor Oscar I. Janowsky of City College who is chairman of the American Friends of the Hebrew University’s Academic Council.
