More than 100 Zionist leaders today honored Dr. Martin Rosenbluth, American representative of the Israel Finance Ministry, at a lunche on marking his fortieth year of service with the world Zionist movement. Speakers included Dr. Nahum Goldmann, Israel Consul-General Arthur Lourie, Louis Lipsky, Henry Montor and others.
Dr. Rosenbluth, who is a brother of the Israel Minister of Justice, began his Zionist career in 1910 as secretary to David Wolffsohn, then president of the World Zionist Organization. From 1915 to 1920, he was director of the Copenhagen office of the Zionist Organization, which served as headquarters for the movement during World War I. Subsequently he held important positions with the Keren Hayesed and with the Zionist Federation of Germany. During World War II, he was director of information for the United Palestine Appeal in New York.
