The importance of the General Assembly of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, which opens tomorrow in Washington, was emphasized today by Moshe Kol, member of the Jewish Agency executive, upon his arrival here on route from New York to Israel.
Zionists at the conference will press a demand that priority be given by the Jewish welfare funds to Israel until there are at least 2,000,000 inhabitants in the Jewish state, Mr. Kol added.
