The eight-point Atlantic Charter formulated by President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Churchill at their historic mid-ocean meeting must be amplified to include the Jewish nation, which has no status today, declared Dr. S. Klinger, executive member of the New Zionist Organization, in an address before the Anglo-Palestine Club today.
The speaker pointed out that one of the reasons for the failure of the League of Nations was its inability to discharge its duty in connection with the Palestine mandate and urged that the Atlantic Charter be amended so that it might pave the way for the establishment of a Jewish state.
