An all Ukrainian conference of representatives of the Society for the Settlement of Jews on the land will be held in Kiev on May 21.
According to a government circular just issued, all Jewish settlers on the land will be freed from land tax during the first three years of their occupancy. Until now the government freed only those farmers who introduced modern methods in working the land.
