Commission on Human Rights to stop singling out Israel for special examination and to stop presuming that Israel is guilty of violations. “The abuse of the commission for transparently political purposes frustrates the defense of human rights and complicates still further the quest for peace,” David Harris, executive director of the American Jewish Committee, told the U.N. panel in Geneva.
