An Anglo-Jewish diamond mogul paid more than $12.6 million for an Andy Warhol portrait of Elizabeth Taylor. London-based jeweler Laurence Graff bought the iconic 1963 image, one of 13 silkscreens made from a publicity photo of Taylor in the year she filmed “Cleopatra,” at a Sotheby’s auction in New York.
