An announcement by the Nazi-controlled Paris radio that Xavier Vallat, was going to Paris was taken in French circles here today as indication that Vichy’s policy on the Jews in the future would be still more dependent on German instruction. The measures enforced against the Jews by the occupation authorities in Paris will probably be applied also in unoccupied France, it was said.
