An anti-Semitic newspaper in the Russian city of Samara does not violate laws prohibiting ethnic hatred, according to Russia’s Press Ministry. The move involving the Aleks-Inform newspaper is being seen by watchdog groups, including the Union of Councils for Jews in the FSU, as evidence that the Russian government is not serious in cracking down on hate speech.
