An appeal to the Argentine Government to let its “voice be heard” among the nations of the Americas and the world in a moral and political campaign to halt aggression against Israel was adopted here today at the 20th anniversary convention of the DAIA, central representative organization of Argentine Jews.
The delegates, representing virtually every section of Argentine Jewry, protested vigorously against moves by the powers of the East and West who incite Egypt and other states toward war. The delegates, too, reaffirmed their solidarity with and unconditional support of Israel.
