An army spokesman announced that a call-up of reserve units and a practice mobilization of civilian vehicles will be held shortly. There was a similar call-up last month. The spokesman said that several thousand reserve soldiers would be called to join their units and that both men and vehicles would be released after the exercise is completed. The neighboring countries have been notified of the practice call-up. If a genuine emergency occurs, the public will be alerted by the communications media, the spokesman said.
