An army spokesman has denied foreign press reports that the Israel Defense Force penetrated into west Beirut and seized buildings of the Hungarian and South Yemen embassies in the Ein Jalha quarter of the city. The spokesman emphasized that the JDF respects the sovereignty of all embassies in Beirut.
