An Australian Web site selling Nazi clothing and memorabilia appears to have been shut down following a TV investigation.
Noble Front, which touts itself as a “One-stop shop for white nationalists,†was selling T-shits emblazoned with swastikas and photos of Hitler until the owner was confronted by a Channel 7 news team.
The Web site subsequently was taken offline and now cites a “server failure,†but it pledges to return “in the next couple of weeks.”
The owner, David Pollard of New South Wales, told the TV reporter his online shop was optional.
“We’re just selling it,” he said. “We’re not forcing it onto anyone.â€
The sale of Nazi memorabilia is not illegal in Australia.
Noble Front appears to be related to Storm Front, a white supremacist Internet forum. Jewish leaders blasted Noble Front as “despicable,†the Australian Jewish News reported.
