An East Bay Zionist Council has been organized in Oakland and the bay cities, embracing the various factions and groups of the Zionist movement. Its main purpose is to stimulate Zionist activity and to promote interest in Palestinian economic and cultural development.
Officers are Dr. Michael M. Zarchin, president; Barnett Greenberg, vice-president; Alex Rosenson, treasurer, and Shirley Katzoff, secretary.
