An El Al cargo jet that crashed in Amsterdam six years ago was carrying chemicals used to manufacture Sarin nerve gas, a Dutch newspaper reported. The burning chemicals may have been responsible for the health complaints registered by residents of an apartment complex in the Dutch capital after the Oct. 4, 1992, crash, which killed 43 people. Israeli officials have repeatedly denied that the plane was carrying hazardous materials.
