An El Al flight was grounded in Tel Aviv after smoke filled the cabin.
Sunday morning’s mishap forced the 737 to halt its take-off run and deploy emergency slides for passengers to evacuate. El Al officials said the smoke apparently was generated by cleaning fluid that leaked onto the engine. The flight had been bound for Zurich.
