An exhibition on Chasidic life is slated to go up in the renovated quarters of a yeshiva in Lublin, Poland. The exhibit at the Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin also will focus on Lublin Rabbi Meir Schapiro, who in 1922 created the Daf Yomi, a seven-year cycle for learning the entire Talmud by completing one page daily. Seven rooms of the vast Lublin complex were inaugurated in January as the headquarters for the Warsaw community’s Lublin branch.
