An exhibition titled “Soviet Jewry: Six Decades Of Oppression,” depicting Jewish life in the Soviet Union, will open at the Los Angeles Convention Center Wednesday and continue until Nov. 27. Planned to coincide with the Russian Trade Fair which will take place in the Convention Center during the same period, the exhibition will focus on an aspect of Soviet life omitted from the Soviet display. The exhibit will utilize a variety of pictorial and graphic techniques to chronicle the Soviet government’s attempts to eradicate all forms of Jewish religious, cultural, and national life during the post 60 years.
