An Indian elephant looking for love was flown to Israel this week from a British zoo. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported that if the 3.5-ton female elephant acclimates well and succeeds in getting impregnated by one of her male counterparts at the Ramat Gan Safari, she could “settle down” in Israel.
