An informal dance and revue, the opening affairs, were given at the Y. M. and Y. W. H. A. building last night, attended by more than 300 people. All local Jewish sororities and fraternities were represented.
J. Louis Simon, president of the board of governors, opened the program with a brief address, in which he asked the continued support of all present for the association.
The dance chairman was George Weiner. Announcement was made by Mr. Simon that alterations to the building will require about two more weeks, and at the end of that time an active daily program is planned.
Harry G. Glazer is chairman of the athletic committee. Joseph H. Flanzer is chairman of the activities, and Jack Lewies of social functions.
