An institute to commemorate Yonatan Netanyahu, the commander of the Entebbe rescue unit who was killed in the operation, has been formed to promote Zionism and Israel’s importance for the defense of the free world. “The Yonatan Institute” was formed by a public committee, which includes President Ephraim Katzir and is chaired by Mrs. Golda Meir. Other members include senior ministers, Supreme Court judges, the chief rabbis and heads of all the universities. The institute will build “Yonatan’s House,” which will contain a museum with photographs and documents on the history of heroism in Israel.
