An international task force met in Washington to discuss a new international project dedicated to Holocaust education, research and remembrance. The meeting at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum involved Holocaust scholars and government officials from the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Germany. It was held in advance of an upcoming international conference in Washington on Holocaust-era assets, during which the task force hopes to highlight its work. The officials discussed Holocaust education guidelines, progress on archival access and adapting a Swedish Holocaust education booklet for international use.
