An Israel Information Service has been formed here to help Israeli students organize on their campuses programs to promote interest in Israel, its history, traditions, culture, economy, politics and international relations, according to Avraham Granott, its director. One of the premises on which the group was organized is that among the various factors affecting public opinion, universities carry among the heaviest impact. While faculty members are among the most important opinion leaders, the students represent the nation’s future leadership, he said.
