An Israeli airstrike killed three Gazan terrorists.
The three Palestinians killed Monday in Gaza City as they were driving in a car were identified as members of Islamic Jihad. Witnesses spoke of secondary explosions from the attack, suggesting the vehicle was carrying munitions.
At least seven other Palestinians were wounded in the incident.
Islamic Jihad is the main Palestinian terrorist group that launches rockets from Gaza into Israel. Hamas, which rules the coastal territory, has officially kept away from rocket fire, though its gunmen regularly attack Israeli border positions with mortars.
