Two gunmen, identified as Hamas members, died Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on their base in Khan Younis.
Military officials did not provide details on the operation. Israel has stepped up attacks recently on Hamas assets in Gaza in a bid to stem cross-border rocket fire and keep up pressure on the ruling Islamist faction.
