An Israeli border policeman was jailed for abusing Palestinian passersby. Jerusalem District Court sentenced the patrolman to 14 months in jail Thursday after finding him guilty of leading a group of border policemen who beat and humiliated two Palestinians at a checkpoint outside the city last September. He also got a year’s suspended sentence.
