An Israeli commando and four Palestinians were killed in a West Bank shootout. Israeli navy commandos raided Nablus on Tuesday to capture the West Bank chief of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and one of his lieutenants. In the ensuing shootout, one terrorist was killed, as was an Israeli captain. The second terrorist sought refuge in a neighboring house, drawing Israeli fire that, according to witnesses, killed him along with two Palestinian bystanders.
