An Israeli committee on the fate of Jews who disappeared during the military regime in Argentina began hearing testimony. The committee is seeking to determine the fate of an estimated 2,000 Jews among the tens of thousands of Argentinians imprisoned, abducted and murdered between 1976 and 1983.
