An Israeli expert will help U.S. officials identify remains of the seven astronauts killed when the space shuttle Columbia disintegrated Saturday. Rabbinical officials with the Israel Defense Force sent an expert with the rank of lieutenant colonel to Houston on Sunday night to help in the identification process, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz.
