An Israeli judge granted Shas Party leader Aryeh Deri the right to examine the state prosecutor’s file that contains background on the investigation into the Bar-On affair. Deri is charged with supporting January’s short-lived appointment of Roni Bar-On as attorney general in the hope that corruption charges against him would be dropped.
