An Israeli legislator said he would resign from the Knesset to devote his energies to opposing the dismantling of settlements in the West Bank. Hanan Porat’s comments came one day after several thousand settlers and their supporters demonstrated across from the prime minister’s residence in Jerusalem on Sunday night to protest the planned dismantling of settler outposts.
