An Israeli man apparently squirted black paint into the grave of a German Jewish leader buried in Tel Aviv on Sunday. Meir Mendelssohn said he squirted the paint as the body of Ignatz Bubis was being lowered into the ground because he believed Bubis took advantage of sympathy for his Jewishness to participate in shady real estate deals.
