An Israeli professor was named co-winner of this year’s Nobel Prize for Economics. Robert Aumann of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem was awarded the 2005 prize along with Thomas Schelling of the University of Maryland in recognition of their work on game theory, the science of strategy, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced Monday.
