An Israeli security guard was shot and killed Friday morning by a Palestinian gunman close to the West Bank settlement of Itamar. The gunman, a Palestinian Authority police officer from a nearby village, ambushed the Israeli’s car as he drove near the settlement of Itamar in the central West Bank. Yussef Ahmed Hanani killed the guard and tried to grab his gun, but other security guards from the settlement killed Hanani as he fled. Miller, 50, was the father of seven children.
